With the season premiers of "Rescue Me" and "The Dead Zone" only a week away, let's take this time to talk about the finale for "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation"
All season long they have been working one long story line with the "Miniature Killer". Starting with last year's season premier and continuing on throughout the season, the killer strikes and leaves "his" signature of a miniature model of the crime scene with such acute detail that it fascinates Grissom.
The season concluded with them narrowing down who the killer really is, but can they find "him" in time, because this time the killer strikes one of their own!
The show ends with Grissom getting yet another miniature model. This time the killer stages a wrecked car accident in the middle of the desert with the car on top of Sara Siddle, with a great camera shot of the miniature model that fades into a shot of the actual scene, where we see Sara's hand poking out of the wreckage. We were able to see her hand move just before the show ends.
Just like "House", "CSI" uses this great "cliff hanger" tactic to get viewers to come back next season!
